The Hamburg derby is among the fiercest rivalries in football that is German as fans put on a series and Monday’s match didn’t disappoint.
As they conquer Hamburg 2-0 at the Bundesliga 2 at Millerntor-Stadion st Pauli made their first home victory.
The triumph refused Hamburg the opportunity to go back to the peak of the league.
“That is sensational, the people are observing,” explained St Pauli manager Jos Luhukay after the 102nd derby.
“The staff and the players deserve it, we won three points in a derby, that goes down in history”
Before a 62nd-minute particular goal by Rick van Drongelen doubled their lead dimitrios Diamantakos felt for the hosts in the 18th minute.
Before the game, 3,000 Hamburg fans marched under a police escort to the scene.
